About LED Lighting

Light-emitting diode (LED) lighting is one of today’s most energy–efficient and rapidly developing lighting technologies. Simply stated, LED is a type of solid-state lighting that uses semiconductors to convert electricity into light. More traditional lamps release 90% of their energy as heat, LEDs on the other hand, with an estimated energy efficiency of 80%-90%, converts more of the electric energy to actual light. Thus, LED lighting fixtures can greatly reduce the consumption, and hence the cost, of energy required to light parking lots, street lights, warehouses to name a few.

LED lighting has many superior characteristics, including the following:

• Energy Efficiency: 80-90% more efficient than more traditional lighting options
• Long Performance life up to 100,000 hours
• Ecologically Friendly
• Design Flexibility
• Operational in Extreme Weather Temperatures
• Effective Light Placement
• Instant On-Instant Off
• Reduced Maintenance Expense

Applications with High Potential for LED Lighting

• In hard-to-reach locations that make maintenance costs high, such as street lighting and tunnels, or in high ceilings where there is continuous operation, such as hotel rotundas
• Extreme environments, such as Cold Storage Plants and freezers
• Where high-quality lighting is required or highly desirable
• Where reliability is highly valued
• Where high lumen output is required
• In areas that require lamps to reach full illumination immediately.

Targeted Verticals with Successful Installations:

• Parking Facilities, Parking Garages, Parking Lots
• Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Cold Storage, Fulfillment Locations
• Manufacturing Plants, Food Processing Locations
• Car Dealerships
• Shopping Centers, Strip Malls,
• Hotels, Hospitals
• Municipal Street Lighting
